Cheer on Synergy-sponsored Team in the le Tour de France
What started as a publicity stunt in 1903 for a struggling sports newspaper has grown into an electrifying international event watched by an estimated 3.5 billion people around the world each year. This year, le Tour de France will draw more than 200 participants, a far cry from the original 15 racers in 1903. While more than 2 million euros in total prize money up for grabs, the real prize is in conquering one of the greatest physical feats of the modern age.
Currently on this road to victory is IAM Cycling, a Synergy-sponsored team who is wrapping up months of intense training in preparation for the first stage that begins on July 4 in Utrecht, Netherlands. This is the second time IAM Cycling has competed in le Tour de France. IAM Cycling athletes trust Synergy’s products to maximize their performance on training days and race days throughout the grueling preparation in months preceding this elite competition.
“In order to race with the best, our bodies need to be balanced. Aside from a healthy diet and hard training sessions, I find in Synergy what helps me achieve my goals.” – Heinrich Haussler, professional cyclist, IAM Cycling
We invite you to cheer on Team IAM Cycling as they race toward victory July 4-26!
The IAM Cycling team joined the professional ranks in January 2013 and is composed of 30 passionate riders from countries all over Europe. These cyclists have been battling through dozens of races this summer through concerning injuries and joyful victories. Some of them have set cycling records and are recognized in the international cycling world.

Dancer fuels training with Synergy products
At 21, Synergy Team Member Harriet Rautio uprooted her life in Sweden where she had been attending dance school to move to New York City and take her dance training to a new level.
Though she moved far away from her family and home in Finland, Harriet was excited to make the Broadway Dance Center her new home. She continues to study a variety of dance styles at the Broadway Dance Center with future plans of becoming a Broadway dancer herself. She also has dreams of joining an international contemporary dance company.
After figure skating for 6 years, Harriet was ready to try something new, which is why at 11 years old she took her first dance lesson. She found right away that she was deeply passionate about dance, and in her teen years she committed up to 20 hours per week to mastering the craft. Throughout her dance career, Harriet has spent the majority of her time developing her skills in ballet, jazz, contemporary and salsa, and recently showed off those skills in the New York Dance Parade.
“I love the feeling I get when I dance,” Harriet said. “There is nothing like going into an empty studio by yourself, turning on the music that inspires you, and losing yourself in movement.”
While a life of eating, breathing and dreaming dance can be draining, to say the least, Harriet has found a way to endure through the ever-present muscle fatigue and make the most of every class or training. By taking ProArgi-9+ and e9 before these workouts, Harriet has found that even her most demanding days are manageable. Not only has her physical performance enhanced, her alertness has intensified.
“Dancing is much more physically demanding than some may think it is,” Harriet said. “I have to make sure that I don’t get injured. It’s easy to pull muscles if you don’t warm up correctly and it’s just as easy to exhaust your body by not giving it the right nutrition.”
She started using SLMsmart Meal Replacement after the product launched in October 2014 and was one of the first athletes to tell Synergy WorldWide that she used the product for athletic support. For Harriet, SLMsmart Meal Replacement is the perfect recovery drink after a day of pirouettes and plies.
“I love sharing Synergy products with those who I know can benefit from them,” Harriet said. “I know there a lot of people, including dancers, who are looking for the kinds of results that I’ve found with these products.”
